It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Lawrence Jones at Maison McCulloch hospice on Sunday, December 13, 2020 with loving family by his side. Born in Pembroke, ON to the late Joseph and Marie Jones (nee St Pierre). Loving husband of Frances Jones (nee Spratt). Beloved father of Cindy Jones (Rod Larocque) and David Jones (Teri). Cherished grandfather of Kiefer Turcotte, Kieran Turcotte, Joshua Jones, Jacob Jones, and great grandson Jaxson Jones. Survived by his sisters Delores Dawe (Vince-predeceased), Patricia McBride (Gerry Lagrandeur-predeceased) and Audrey Vaillancourt (Edward); predeceased by siblings Robert (Grace-predeceased), Reggie, Pauline, Edward (Norma), Billy, Joseph Jr. (Beatrice), Roy (Laura), Gary and Marion Balloway (Al). Sadly, missed by many relatives and friends. Jerry enjoyed going for long walks and had a passion for reading. A special thank you to the nurses at Maison McCulloch Hospice for the care and compassion they have provided to Jerry. As per his wishes’ there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers donations made directly to Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
God Speed Uncle Jerry! I always remember you just being so kind. Such blessings and love are sent to the family from both Mummy (Dolores) and I. She was heartbroken for the loss of her last brother, and at this time when the families can’t be together, makes it all the harder for the whole family.
