It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Marie Higgs (nee Poirier) in the early morning hours on Friday, July 30th, 2021. Youngest child and only daughter of Paul and Ruth Poirier (both predeceased). Beloved wife of Raymond Higgs. Cherished mother of Jennifer (Mark Lafleur), Melissa (Wayne Maurice), and Tyler (predeceased). Dear sister of Bernie (predeceased), Wayne, Gary (Shelley), Maurice (Tina), Ron (Linda) and Richard. Beloved sister-in-law to Linda (Joe) (both predeceased), Valerie (Mike), Cheryl, Debbie, Heather, Lolly and Ken. She adored all her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Cameron, Scott, Brett, Logan, Parker, Grady, Haylewinn and Shania. They were the highlight of her life. She has left a lasting loving impression on all her cousins, nieces, and nephews. Her closest friends, sisters to her, will keep her giggle sessions going. A special thank you to Dr. Lacey Pitre for her heartfelt care and guidance. A private celebration of life will take place at a later date. If you wish to make a donation, please do so to the Northeast Cancer Centre at Health Sciences North.
Dear, Aunt Anne Marie. Your family loves you, and we will miss you dearly. I hope you are in a wonderful place with other loved ones, and I hope you have peace.

So sad that our sweet Anne Marie has left all of us. I pray that her spirit will find her loved ones in Heaven. May her family on earth remember the good times. Play some Blue Rodeo in memory of her. My heart is sad but I will see her on the other side, giggling and laughing. My sincere condolences on the loss of Anne Marie.

My hugs to Ray and family. As a member of our Levack Sisters she will be so missed by each and everyone of us. She fought cancer for so many years and just recently rang of her many bells and we thought yeah, but our prayers were just not enough. Girl, I am so happy you are with your mom and your son. Your spirit will live in each one of us along with your smiles, hugs and beautiful heart.

Anne Marie was such an unexpected delight to Aunt Ruth after all the boys! I know heaven needed another angel and her mom will be there to cerish her. I am so sorry to Ray and her family, she loved you all. My deepest condolences.
