Hembruff, Dorothea “Dot” Belle (nee Cram)

In loving memory of Dorothea “Dot” Belle Hembruff (nee Cram), age 89 who passed peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife of Lawrence Hembruff, daughter of Clara Belle and Jack Cram, sister to Phyllis Lawrence, Margaret Cashmore and John Cram – all predeceased. Cherished mother of Penny Loiselle and Jack Hembruff. Dorothy loved to spend time with her grandchildren Cynthia Seguin (husband Marc), Mike Loiselle (fiancé Cindy) and Krista (partner Dominic) and was especially proud of her great-grandchildren Caleb, Vada-Leigh, Joshua and Casey. Sadly missed by her sister-in-law JoAnne Cram and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy worked as a secretary at the Sudbury General Hospital in radiology and later in life was a member of the bible study group at St. Mark’s United Church. She loved to spend time at the family camp on Fairbanks Lake, fishing, playing cards with friends and spending time with family. She was never without her clipboard of crossword puzzles and pencil! In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation. Family and friends are welcome to share memories at a Celebration of Dot’s Life on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at St. Mark’s United Church, 45 Walford Road, Sudbury at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome after 10:45 a.m. Interment at the Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mark’s United Church or Finlandia Charitable Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
