Heale, Ruth Aline “Lynn” (née Buck)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Lynn Heale on February 4, 2017, in Sudbury. She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Gord Heale, and her three children, Michael (JoAnn) of Toronto, Terry Woodrow (Bob) of Haliburton, and Tim of Barrie. Born in Copper Cliff, ON, Lynn was the daughter of the late Clarence and Eileen Buck (nee Kelly). She is survived by her brother John and predeceased by her siblings Fred, Clare and Louise. She is fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Amanda (Mark), Joe (Esti), Liane, Devon, Kelly, Alison, Billy; and great grandchildren, Peter, Ben, Molly and James. Lynn was a long-serving employee of the Sudbury Taxation Centre, retiring at the age of 80. She is remembered as a formidable Bridge player, a gambling enthusiast, and an endlessly inquisitive conversationalist. A born traveler and social butterfly, Lynn was full of love for her family and friends and curiosity about the world. We encourage donations in her memory to Health Sciences North, in thanks for the kind and compassionate care of the 5th Floor South medical team.
