Haynes, Dianna Alma

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our dearly loved Dea on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Health Sciences North. Dea was born in Sudbury and raised in Gatchell. She was the daughter of the late John and Carrie Haynes. Loving sister of Ron (wife Madeleine nee Blais) of Gatineau, QC. Cherished aunt of Carol (children Andréanne & Michèle) and Jon (children Nicholas and Emile). Dea lived in Lively for many years and worked at I.N.C.O as a data processor. She returned to Sudbury and worked as a Teacher’s Aide for the Sudbury Board of Education and was an active member of Our Lady of Hope Parish as a Eucharistic Minister. Tenderly We Treasure The Past, With Memories That Will Always Last. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 591 Brennan Road, Sudbury on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Donations to Maison Vale Hospice will be greatly appreciated.

  2. Our condolences to Ron, Madelaine, family and friends. Dea was a very special woman who embraced our family with love. She chose her Birthday and Christmas cards with special care and wrote wonderfully warm messages inside them. She was kind towards others and taught us how to forgive and forget past hurts. We will miss her little sayings like “Because because!” and “So there!”, the twinkles in her eyes, and her mischievous grin. May God grant her eternal rest and His perpetual light shine upon her.
