Passed away peacefully Friday, August 2, 2019 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury at the age of 75 years. Loving mother of Leanne (Travis) Thomson and Doug Hamblin. Cherished grandma of Brett and Owen Thomson. She will be missed by her siblings Marilyn (predeceased), Patricia (Denny) both predeceased, Bob (Kay), Gayle, Debbie (Wayne), several nieces, nephews and her friends from the walking club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 16th, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Reynolds Funeral Home (Turner Chapel), 1 Mary Street, Bracebridge. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 17th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 118 McMurray St, Bracebridge.

We just arrived home from Edmonton & learned about your Mother’s passing – we are so very sorry. Your Mother & I spent an awful lot of time at BPS volunteering for this & that, while you two & our three daughters went to school there. We always had a lot of fun & shared a lot of laughs (there was a time I remember when one of the teachers told us we had to tone it down, we were a tad too loud. Who us?) We just arrived home from Edmonton & read about your Mother’s passing – we are so very sorry. Your Mom & I were at BPS an awful lot while you two & our three girls were attending school there. We were always busy with one event or another but we loved it – your Mom & I had a lot of fun, laughing maybe too hard at times (had to be told by a couple of teachers we needed to tone it down). Years of late I lost track of your Mother but I learned she was where she wanted to be, with her two children.
