It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Denise Guenette (nee Larocque) with family by her side on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 71 years. she will once again embrace the loving hands of her husband Aime Guenette who is predeceased. Loving mother of Lynn (Todd) Case, Tina (Richard) Connolly, Jacques Guenette and Marcel (Shaunalee) Guenette. Devoted grandmother of Jessica, Jennifer, Amy-Lee, Rebecca-Lynn, Allison, Dylan, Vicky, Chad, Mileena, Melodie and Mirabelle. Adored great grandmother of Jaimee-Rae, Leigha, Bradley, Jasmine, Eisley, Riley, Jemma, Scarlett and Gunner. Cherished sister of Lorraine (Johnny) Vincent (both predeceased), Claire (André) Piette, Hélène (Pete-predeceased) Mayer, Michel (predeceased) (Fleurette) Larocque, Claude (predeceased) (Yvette) Larocque, Suzanne (predeceased) (Maurice) Prevost, Jacques Larocque (predeceased) and Robert (Terry) Larocque. Born in Chelmsford in 1949, she was the daughter of the late René and Bertha Larocque (nee Tremblay). Denise will be remembered for having a heart of gold, always putting others first, her love and adoration for her family, her love of music and the peaceful feeling that her door was always open to whomever walked through. Mom has blessed us with family traditions that we will keep dear to our hearts and will continue in her honor. In keeping with Denise’s wishes, there will be no visitation, a Funeral Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
