GRIEVE, Jeffrey – October 3, 1945 – May 11, 2019

Passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, May 11, 2019. Beloved husband of Bev (nee Reynolds), loving dad of Sarah and David (Hilary). Jeff was a devoted grandpa to Avery and Cohen and loved nothing more than watching them grow and play. He was the dear brother of Dwight (Karen) and Spencer (Berny) and will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephew. He will be missed by his sister-in-law Ann (Donnie) and his extended family Susan and Justin. Sincere appreciation goes to Dr. Cano, Dr. Carlson, Dr. Saidi, Dr. Shivakumar and Dr. Bilgasem for their care and professionalism. Special thanks to friends Peter and Catherine for their support during this difficult time. Jeff had many happy memories walking alongside his parents and brothers, building a camp at Trout Lake, and he added to those memories with his own family and with his grandchildren. Jeff was a dedicated environmental analyst at Inco and enjoyed many accomplishments during his forty-year career. He volunteered with several organizations: chair of Adanac-Laurentian University Ski Club and Sudbury Regional Ski Council, official with various ski organizations, United Way, Sudbury Dragon Boat Festival, and past president of Trout Lake Campers Association. As per his request, there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of Jeff’s life will be arranged at a later date. Donations may be made directly to the Maison McCulloch Hospice in his memory.

  1. Dear Family Makes me so sad to hear of Jeff’s passing, please accept my heartfelt condolences. Have been working together with Jeff for many years and remember the really good times we had together all the time. We dropped in many times at our surveys in our home for lunch, so my dear wife (who passed away 5 years ago at 88 years, I’m 92 now) liked Jeff very much too. May the lovely memories help to lessen the pain of losing a Loved-One from our world for you too!
