Gravelle, Marie Thérèse

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Marie Thérèse Gravelle (née Séguin), at the age of 90, on Saturday April 25, 2020 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury.  Beloved wife of the late Réginald “Reggie” Gravelle. Loving mother of Lise predeceased (Gerry Rouleau), Ginette (Yvan Robert), Adèle predeceased, and Manon (Michael Lesk).  Daughter of the late Maxime Séguin and late Alma Yelle.  Dear sister of Noëlla, Claire and Fernand predeceased.  Cherished “Mamie” to her grandchildren: Amélie, James, Marie-France, Chloé and cherished “Grande-Mamie” to Rosaline, Janey and Eloise. Thérèse loved spending time with her family. She was a gifted seamstress, an avid knitter, and she made the best apple pie in the world.  

La famille de Marie Thérèse Gravelle (née Séguin) a le regret d'annoncer son décès survenu le samedi 25 avril 2020 à l'Horizon Santé-Nord Sudbury à l'âge de 90 ans. Marie Thérèse était l'épouse de feu Réginald "Reggie" Gravelle. Maman de feue Lise (Gerry Rouleau), Ginette (Yvan Robert), feue Adèle et Manon (Michael Lesk). Fille de feu Maxime Séguin et feue Alma Yelle.  Soeur de Noëlla, Claire et feu Fernand. "Mamie" de quatre petits-enfants: Amélie, James, Marie-France et Chloé. "Grande-Mamie" de trois arrière-petits-enfants: Rosaline, Janey et Eloise.

  3. Dear Gravelle Family…

    Please accept our sincere condolence for the passing of your mother. Madame Gravelle will be someone I will always remember. I remember as a young boy admiring her. She always seamed so dignified and polite, and always made time to say hello to me at church. I only wished I had tried her apple pie!!!
