Claude passed away peacefully at his home on April 2, 2017 at the age of 55 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Sudbury, ON to Yvon (predeceased) and Helene (Richer) Godon. Loving father of Cory Taylor (Jenn), Casara Godon (Frank), C.J Godon (Aimee) and Cody Godon. Cherished grandfather of Avery, Jayden, Cadence, Korbin, Kaleb, KeAndre and Liam (predeceased). Beloved brother of Gabrielle (Alvin Doiron), Marcel Godon, Denise (Michel Dupuis) and Gisel Godon (Dan Leahy). Claude was a true outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting and quadding, he was an amazing carpenter and loved scooting around on his favourite toy; his scooter. As per his wishes there is no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Jacques church, 46 Cote Blvd Hanmer, ON. Followed by a light lunch in the church hall.
