In loving memory of Joseph John Gibson “Joe,” born in Oshawa, Ontario on May 25, 1942 to the late Joseph and Margaret Gibson. Joe passed away peacefully and gently at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, Ontario on October 6, 2020 at 78 years of age. Joe was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people on earth. He went above and beyond to help others throughout his life. He will be greatly missed by many. Beloved father to Emily, Adam and Colleen (predeceased). Cherished brother to Patrick (Lynne), Charles (Dianne), Deborah, Joy (predeceased) and Barbara (predeceased). Joe worked for General Motors in Oshawa for many years, then decided to relocate to Sudbury and become a small business owner. He owned Sudbury Electric Shaver Service downtown for quite sometime and always had a love for fixing small items, such as shavers and lighters. Joe then found something he was very passionate about, selling insurance. He then retired and spent his remaining years raising his daughter Emily. Joe had a love for nature, animals, space, the stars, and the sun. He always enjoyed the beauty of the sky, whether it be day or night. He also was an avid gardener and flower lover with a green thumb. He loved driving in his Sebring Convertible, and owned many of these cars throughout his life, as they were his favorite. At Joe’s request, there will be no service.
