Gauthier, Louis Philippe

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday December 7th, 2018 at the Elizabeth Centre at the age of 82 years after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband of Aline Gauthier (nee Beausoleil). Cherished father of Johanne Scarpellini (Lorenzo), Isabelle Gauthier, Rachel Gauthier and Julie Gauthier. Cherished grandfather of Cristina Scarpellini (Barry Michasiw), Melissa Moudgil (Bineet), Devan Chénier and Jessie Chénier (Joël Paquette) and great grandfather of Mila Moudgil. Louis is predeceased by his parents Roméo and Annette Gauthier (nee Roy) and his two sisters Anita Castonguay (Conrad predeceased) and Alice Gauthier (Omer Legros). He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Elizabeth Centre for their loving care and compassion. As per his wishes, there will be no service. Donations in his memory can be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
