Forget, Geraldine “Gerry” (née Gagnon)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Geraldine “Gerry” Forget (née Gagnon), 86 years, on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife of 60 years to Léo Forget (predeceased 2010). Loving mother of Diane Caron (Jacques), Guy Forget - predeceased, Carole Robillard (Ron), Joanne Forget, Richard Forget, Nicole Miller (Jack) and Roxanne Forget. Cherished grandmother of Daniel Caron (Mélanie), Julie Caron, Allain Forget, Marc Forget (Mélanie), Ginnette Withers (Shane), Danielle Robillard, Lise Robillard (Josh), Joel Forget, Camille Forget, Miranda Miller, Romain Deriaz, Chloé Deriaz, Mayléa Deriaz, Noah Deriaz and great grandmother of Chloé, Émilie, Hunter, Geniviève, Sebastien, Caleb, Molly, Tommy and Johnny. Dear sister of 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Born in Bouchette, Gatineau, QC, she was the daughter of the late Provin and Helene (Huneault) Gagnon. A very private lady whose focus in life was her family. She appreciated all the simple things life had to offer whether it was playing marbles or joining in on a card game with family and friends. Blessed with a bubbly personality whose gift of cooking at family gatherings was enjoyed by all. She leaves a tremendous legacy of a dedicated mother and hard worker who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse Ste-Marguerite d’Youville, 4290 Highway 69 North, Val Therese on Saturday, May 5 at 10:00 a.m.
