It is with profound and unimaginable sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of our beloved Jamie-Lee on Monday, October 16, 2023 at the very young age of 44 years.
Beloved wife of Peter Emes. Loving and devoted mother of Thomas, Samantha, and Bryan. In addition to being a proud mother of three, she was blessed with a “heart of gold” as big as the universe which formed the basis of being an active advocate for the Autism and Down Syndrome Societies as well as for her children. She took great pride in her ability to become an organization specialist. An avid Canasta player who enjoyed spending time in the company of family and friends. Some of her other hobbies included painting, colouring, taking pictures and videos, then sharing with family and friends.
Those who were fortunate enough to be touched by her life will always be grateful for her kindness, passion, and determination. The legacy of her love will forever be the “Light of Hope” for her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed by her husband and children as well as her extended family, and many, many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at St Alexander Church, 100 Gaudette Street in Chelmsford on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:30 am. Relative and friends are welcome to gather at 11:00 am.
Jamie-Lee was more then a friend, she was family.
