Eibl, George

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the age of 87. He was one day short of the passing of his love Luise 3 years prior.

Born to the late Dorathea and the late Georg in Nurnberg, Germany. Predeceased by his brother Henry (Gill) and sister Ann Pickel (Franz) of Germany.

Opa, the man, the myth, the legend to children Rolly (Kelly), Charmaine and Christine Andrews. Proud Opa to Jesse (Cassandra), Carrie (fiancé Steve) and Samantha Gagnon (Tyler). Great-grandfather to Paityn and Oaklynn Eibl and Jordyn and Sofia Jacklin. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews near and far Ed, Frank, Marianne(predeceased), Ramona, Beatrice, and Elizabeth.

Georg was a master mechanic owning White Rose on Spruce and Ethelbert. He moved on to Falconbridge Nickel Mine. His love for cars, especially the classics, was undeniable. Once retired, he concentrated on volunteering for Silver Stick Hockey Tournaments with his best buddy Don Stack. For many years, he sold poppies for Lockerby Legion at the Independent four corners.

Was loved and will be truly missed. As per Georg’s request, there will be no service or funeral visitation. Donations can be made directly to St. Joseph’s Villa https://www.sjsudbury.com/index.php/st-josephs-foundation/ways-to-donate/
