Eden, Errol “Erry”

Our Earth Angel gained his Heavenly Wings.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Errol (Erry) Eden at Maison McCullogh Hospice on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the age of 75 years.

Erry had a great love for all things outdoors, especially spending time at the property where he was able to help all his children/grandchildren by building pretty much anything they asked for or by teaching them how to fish, shoot a gun, skin a pelt.  He had a great sense of humor and loved to play harmless pranks.

He leaves behind...

His partner, the love of his life for almost 57 years, Liliane (Desbiens) Eden who he shared every one of life's precious moments with.

His daughters & son-in laws: Lori (Richard) Cleland, Sherri (Denis) Leclerc and Cindy (Ken) Roy who he loved, cherished and was very proud of.

His grandsons, Jonrian (Jessica) Eden-Dubois, Craig Leclerc (Ashley Leduc), Kyle Leclerc (Marie-Jeanne Lyle), Dryden Roy & Brody Roy who brought him extreme joy, who made him proud and who he loved unconditionally.

His sisters, Ila (Jean-Marc-predeceased) Chayer, Julia (Jacques - predeceased) McGraw & Ruby (Rene) Gervais who meant the world to him and who he loved unconditionally.

His many sister-in-laws / brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.

Predeceased by his parents Algot & Armande (Cayen) Eden, Sister & Brother-in-law - Darlene & Bernard Charron, brother Garnet Eden.

Special thanks goes out to...

Our AMAZING family/friends who supported us, without hesitation, through this difficult journey. We love you all so very much!

Dr. Mirka and Jen for keeping it real and being so very supportive.

The nurses and PSWs (especially Tanya) at HSN for doing all you could to make his stay more comfortable.

To all the staff, nurses, and PSWs at Maison McCullogh Hospice for all the support and compassion you showed us. You are TRULY INCREDIBLE!!!

May Erry's memory live on in each of us and may his spirit continue to guide and support us through life's journey. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Until we meet again...

  3. I have so many good and great childhood memories of Erry. We were great chums and lived a little over 2 miles away in Kipling. We had many adventures in those days and had our share of driving our parents and teachers a little crazy, but to us it was all in fun. Springtime was always a time of getting into mischief from disappearing from school or maybe doing a bit of spring fish poaching. We hunted in the fall and were pretty good shots in those preteen years when such things were normal and the world was still sane. Just a pair of country lads. His older brother Garnet was good to bring us fishing or shooting down the Tombo River rapids in the old green canoe with me tagging along and holding on for dear life and those two laughing at me at my terror when the white foamed splashes came over me as we bounced over the rocks and waves of that lively river.
Good bye old chum I will be thinking of you for all my years left in existence. Thanks for the memories. See you soon. Rene
