It is with extreme sadness that the family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of Mark Dyer at his residence in Onaping, ON on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the age of 47 years. Adored father of Kamdyn Dyer. Born in Sudbury on September 23, 1973, he was the son of Walter Dyer (Carole Bazinet) and Nicole Boucher. Loving brother of Nadine Dyer (Kyle McDougall) and Christopher Dyer (Sarah Lavigne). Cherished uncle of Evan Provost, Abigail Provost, Lucas Dyer and Alaia Dyer. Mark will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins but especially his Aunt Louise and Uncle Ron Ouimette, who were like a second set of parents to him. Those who were lucky to know Mark will fondly remember his love for “cruising around” Onaping Lake with family and friends on his boat, as well as his beautiful flock of exotic birds which he adored. In keeping with Mark’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, the family will have a private memorial service when it is safe to do so.
I cannot believe that Marc has passed away. I was just going through my social media and saw a post from his sister Nadine. I worked with Marc at Household Finance for years. He was a fantastic coworker and a great friend, we lost touch when we both left HFC. I’m at a loss for what to say. Please accept my sympathies and know that Marc was a good friend to me and that I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. 💞
