Duval, Gaston

Passed away peacefully with loving family by his side on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the age of 68, at Health Sciences North. Loving husband and best friend of Réjeanne (nee Romain). Proud and cherished father of Roch (Natalie) and Pierre”Pete”. Cherished peppère of Kyle, Faith, Paige, Landon and missed by Tiffany Duval. Born in Chelmsford to the late Royal and Lucienne Duval (nee Champagne). Survived by brothers Raymond (Pierrette), Richard (Sally), Junior (Julie), Michel (Denise) and predeceased by brothers Robert and Claude. Sadly missed by his father in law René Romain, his sisters in law and brothers in law. Gaston was a proud and dedicated volunteer firefighter for 42 years for the town of Chelmsford and a retired miner from INCO with 32 years of services. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who will be missed by his buddies. As per Gaston’s request there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the NEO Kids Foundation would be appreciated.
