In loving memory of George Doucet, 88 years of Sudbury who passed away peacefully January 14 at his residence. He was born in Nova Scotia and moved to Sudbury where he married Muriel Lamarche. George retired from INCO and spent time at his camp on Cranberry Lake where fishing with his sons, sons-in-law and grandchildren was a favorite past time. Beloved husband of Muriel predeceased in 1992. Loving Father of Dianne (predeceased 2012) (Doug Hay {Bev Brewer}), Dan (Emmanuella), Dennis (predeceased 1999), Donna (Cletus Simon) and David (predeceased in 1972). Loving Grandfather to Alethea (Bill Sorrel), Devony (Sandy Spencley), Jessica, Evan, Ashley (Dean Wilson), Tyler (Marie Smith), Chelsey, Courtney, and Caroline. Loving Great Grandfather to Rylan, Mackenna (8), Caitlyn (7), Ryan (5), Gannon (5) and Anthony (1 ½). In keeping with George’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
George is going to be missed deeply, nothing is the same without him here 🙁

Such sad news. George ( Papa) will be greatly missed. He was a gentle, caring man who loved seeing and spending time with his grandkids especially at The Camp.
