In loving memory of Annette Marie Doré, who passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021, at Health Sciences North, at the age of 72. Daughter of Jack and Myrtle Horne (both predeceased). Loving wife of Gil. Devoted mother of Barbara and Teddy (predeceased). Dear Nana of Hannah and Erin. Cherished sister of Marilyn, Mary (Jim), Bonnie (Bob), Nancy (Don), Norma, Bill – predeceased (Debbie), and Joey - predeceased. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. She loved her work as hairdresser and then hairdressing instructor until her retirement. She was never happier then at a gathering of family and friends. Defined by her kindness and generosity, she was always available to help anyone in need. She loved to knit, complete word searches, play cards, and cheer on the Toronto Maple Leafs. Her positive attitude while facing many physical health challenges was inspiring. As per Annette’s wishes, there will be a small gathering in her honor at a later date. A special thank you to her family physician Dr. Kauffeldt, in whose care she felt safe and heard. Those wishing to make memorial contributions in her name are encouraged to support Maison McCulloch Hospice, an organisation she deemed essential to her community.
