It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Docking, on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Health Sciences North at the age of 71. Born in Portage La Prairie, MB he was the son of the late Russell and Joan Docking (nee Morten). Beloved husband of Reina Docking (nee Scanlan). Loving father of Dave (Lise) and Chris (Tammy). Cherished grandfather of Amanda (Dan), Ryan and Cameron. He was predeceased by his brother Terrance and sister Fern. Robert was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed the company of his wife Reina and dear friends on long excursions whether it was snowmobiling or in his side by side. In keeping with Robert’s wishes there will be no visitation. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

Heartfelt condolences and prayers for all of Robert’s family and friends for your very sad and sudden loss. Although I did not know any of you personally, I was a close friend of the late (Philip) Jim Baker and Bob’s sister Fern was the love of Jim’s life. It is my belief that Jim would want me to acknowledge and honour Bob’s passing.
