The family announces with sorrow her passing on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of Roger Desforges, predeceased in 2013. Loving mother of Lise Bowden (Peter) of Toronto and beloved grandmother of Antoinette. Predeceased by her parents Marcel and Clara, brother Edgar, sisters Irene Sutcliffe and Claire Marriott. Loving sister of Hélène Lachapelle, Marcel, Lucille Poirier and Denise Waltenbury. Sadly missed by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cécile worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Ranger’s then St. Amand’s Wrecking Yards. She was a friendly person who loved to provoke entertainment and laughter with those around her. At Cécile’s request, there will be no visitation or service.
So sorry Lise , Peter and Antoinette our deepest sympathy. She was a great lady and was very kind to me and my family when we visited her. she will be missed.
