Deschamps, Richard Clifford

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Richard Clifford Deschamps on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care. Richard was among family and staff during his passing. He loved Elvis, Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays. He was a member of the Ironworkers Local 786. Richard enjoyed camping, fishing, bonfires and signing karaoke. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Richard is united with all the angels that our family lost. A very special thank you to the staff at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care, HSN, all the great doctors and nurses at the cancer unit, and to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial staff. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Trevi Tavern, 1837 LaSalle Blvd. Sudbury on Monday, April 13, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. If desired donations in Richard’s memory can be made to The Northern Cancer Foundation.
