Depatie-Guignard, Yvonne (nee Sinclair)

At 12:50 a.m., on Thursday, October 1, 2020, heaven gained another angel! Yvonne Depatie-Guignard (nee Sinclair), born December 14, 1949 was called home to be with her lord, her saviour. Yvonne “Vonnie” was survived by her husband Leon Guignard. Loving mother of George (Tammy), Alexander Mathew (Kathy), and LeeAnn (Dave). Sweet Nanny of Patrick, Tyler, Mathew, Alyssa, Tyara, Nicholas, Drew, Harley, and Matteah. Great Nanny of Korben. Caregiver of Micheal and John, who she cared and treated as her own. Beautiful daughter of Phyllis and Robert Sinclair, both predeceased. Sister of Edith, Francis (Leo), Charlene (Jack), Danny, Jimmy (Gail), and predeceased by her siblings, Mary, Henry, Robert, William, Phillip, and Mark. Daughter in-law of Ella - predeceased and Sylvio Guignard. Sister in-law of Marcel (Pat), Michael, and Diane (Michel). Also survived by many loving nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, and many close friends.

Vonnie was known as the peacemaker. She loved all her family unconditionally. The are many words that would best describe Vonnie but the one best suited for the most incredible woman, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend...GENUIN. Happiest when helping others, her beautiful smile was brightest working with the church, and helping the less fortunate. A loving spirit, which you knew soon after you met her. I think of the last words she spoke to us, "I know" (I KNOW THAT) will be with us forever.... Leon.

My Mother taught me everything I need in life except how to live without her. Not a moment goes by, that I do not wish for one more day together. She was a great inspiration to me, and she will be forever missed. I love you Ma....George.

Mom, we love you and will always miss you. You filled our hearts with love, which we will always cherish. Mom as you look down at your kids and grandkids from up above; you will see that we will always miss you and you will never leave our hearts. Love you forever and ever.... Mattie.

Mom, you have taught me and my children so much. You have given us true meaning of love, compassion, and faith. We love you more than words can describe. Everyday without you will be a challenge, but the strength you have shown us over the years will help guide us. You will be with us in everything we do because I know you are still here. So, you go be in peace Mom, take those wings and own them. Show them who’s boss. Ilytteotwab.... LeeAnn.

I KNOW, I KNOW THAT..... Mom. Words to best describe our beautiful Yvonne can be found in her bible, Matt:5:8,9.
