In Loving Memory of Evis “Pat” Depatie, 92 years, who passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017 peacefully at his home in Sudbury. Dear son of the late Edmond and Anna (nee Gascon) Depatie. Loving father of Deborah Bedard (Gary), Carol Depatie (John), Sharon Lanctot (Jack), Sandra Depatie (Ernie) and Patricia Depatie – predeceased. Cherished grandfather of Jean Yves (Alison), Danyelle (Justin), Melissa (Jason), Matthew (Lisa), Michelle (Alex), Justin (Samantha), Jonnee-Mae (Albert), Raeanne (Drew), Leah, Jessica (John) and Jennifer (Ryan). Beloved great grandfather of Chloe, Austin, Taylor, Jordan, Hannah and Alice. Very dear brother of Louis (Lillian), Maurice (Joan – predeceased), Jackie (Cliff), Marie (Emile), Claudette (Ken), Laurette (Art – predeceased), Yvette (Burt-predeceased), Carmen (Alfred – predeceased) as well as Grace (Joe), Fern, Duff (Lucienne) and Donat (Yvette) all predeceased. Sadly missed by many loving nieces and nephews. Pat lived for his family and helping others; his daughters and their children meant the world to him, and he always went out of his way to help anyone who needed a hand. He loved telling stories of his many adventures and enjoyed planting flowers in his garden in the spring. Pat was a hard-working man and served as a foreman for Pioneer Construction, retiring in 1990 after 45 years of service. A Memorial Mass will take place at St. Kevin’s Parish, 4610 Ste. Thérèse St., in Hanmer on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11 :00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will follow in the Church Hall.
