It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Yollande Demers (née Gauthier) on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Sudbury Health Sciences North at the age of 76. Beloved wife of 56 years to Fernand Demers. Daughter of the late Odia and Rhéa (née Dupuis) Gauthier. Loving mother to Jeannette (Dany), Ginette (Michael), Darlene (Tim), Francine. Dear sister to Marcel (Wendy) and Paulette. Predeceased by her siblings Donald, Albert (Marlene), Irene and Carmen. Cherished grandmother to Shawn, Connor, Emily, Alex, Christopher, Nicholas, Jessica, and Mathieu.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Health Sciences North. A Celebration of Life will be held with the immediate family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Maison McCulloch Hospice maisonsudburyhospice.org.
