Surrounded by the love of his family, Guy Dallaire, 86 years passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, June 21, 2019. Born in St-Camille, QC he was the son of the late Achille and Mathilda (née Valliere) Dallaire. Beloved father of Joanne Richer (Olivier), Michel Dallaire and Sylvie Dallaire. Cherished grandfather of Valerie and Daniel Richer. Proud and doting great grandfather of Audrey, Alexia, Sofie, Dakota, Logan, Danika and Kylie. Brother of 8, left to mourn are siblings Jeanine (predeceased) (Paul Giguére), Lorraine (Jean Guay Charles), Yves (predeceased) (Clémence), Madelaine (predeceased) (Louis Linteau), Gilles (predeceased) (Hélène), Roselle (predeceased) (Laurent Lanteigne), Lucette (Ernest Bizier) and Louisette (Laureat Bolduc). He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and good friends. “Ti-Peré”, a nickname given to him by his co-workers spent many years working at Falconbridge as a Shift Boss. His greatest joys in life came from the times he was able to spend with family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Guy will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or services. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made directly to the Northern Cancer Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or Maison McCulloch Hospice.

We are sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Guy. We will miss his visits to Oshawa. It was always great to hear his stories about his grandchildren and great grandchildren. They obviously brought him great joy. Clearly he appreciated all of his family and the love, care and devotion that you gave to him. He will be dearly missed and well remembered.
