Dailey, Linda Maureen (nee O’Connell)

Passed away peacefully at home in her 74th year. Daughter to the late Harry and Toini O’Connell (both predeceased), and daughter in law to Carl and Phyllis Dailey (both predeceased). Beloved wife and best friend to Gord Dailey (predeceased). Loving mother to Leanne, Heather (Craig) and Paula. The most loving and proudest Nana to Logan (Kyle), Declan, Eric, Tessa, Jacey, Chelsea and Evan. Dearest sister to Mary (Bud) (both predeceased), Jack (Lillian) (both predeceased) and Nancy (Gordon) of Yuma, Arizona. Dearest sister in law to Sylvia, Patsy and Don (Monica). Very special aunt to Nancy (Paul) and many other nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her 4-legged best friend Avry. Linda was a second mother to over 50 children over the years that she cared for. She loved each and every one of them very much and they all had a special place in her heart and home. Linda’s family and friends were her whole life. Being a strong proud woman, she has left us with many wonderful memories. Live, Love, Laugh. There will be a private family Celebration of Life at a later date. Donations in Linda’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.

  1. I am so glad that I was able to do her hair in the last few months. You’re right, she was proud and loved it when her hair looked like she wanted it to. She’s one of those customers that I will miss. I found her very funny. I loved her stories about screwing up the TV remote and her cell phone . I sympathized because I’m just as technically illiterate as she.
She always spoke of her family and loved you all so much. She was so proud of all of you. She also talked about the little girl that she was sitting for lately (I’m sorry, I forget her name). She would tell me all the funny things she would say.
I am in shock still because my understanding was that ( at least what she told me) she was doing well. I’m so glad that I had her in my life. You’re in my thoughts and prayers
