It is with broken hearts the family announces the sudden passing of Mervin Patrick Cumming at the age of 76 on Sunday, June 4, 2023.
Cherished husband of 56 years to his honeymusca Marguerite Cumming (nee Behenna). Loving father of Laurie (Rusty Buzzell), Mervin, Tracy (Scott Streich) and Lindsay (Stuart McMillan). Proud papa of Heather Lawrence (Dave), Deanna Bailey (Taylor Girard), Hayley Punkari (Josh Neumair), Taylor Yaw (Alex), Brandt Cumming, Tyeson Niemi, Paige Cumming, and Trey Niemi (Predeceased). Proud great papa to Colton, Brooklynn and Nolan Lawrence, Miller and Kessler Yaw and Rowan Cumming.
Mervin was born June 14, 1946, to Arthur and Lona Cumming both predeceased. Brother to Lois St. Pierre (Predeceased) (Reginald), Donald Cumming (Ruth) both predeceased and Marilyn Landriault (Mike). Brother-in-law to Sherry Munroe (Stretch), Donna McLeod (Chris), Johnny Behenna, and Pam Dawson (Rob).
He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, co-workers, and neighbours. A Memorial Service will be held at the St. Puis X Church, Main Street, Lively, on Saturday July 8, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Followed by a Celebration of Life at the Kinsmen Hall, in Lively, at 1:00 p.m.

Thank you for all our memories fishing and all the laughs along our 30 yr journey. I will miss you so much until we fish again my friend.
