In Loving Memory of Irene Cronin, 96 years, who passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Pioneer Manor. Beloved wife of the late Norbert Cronin (predeceased 1994). She will be missed dearly by her daughters, Carol Gray (Gary) of Georgia and Margaret Desjardins (Donald) of Hanmer. Loving Nana to her grandchildren Brent, Michael, Nicole, Carole and cherished great-grandmother to Chanelle, Matthias, Fox and Rossanita. Irene was predeceased by her 7 siblings. Nana enjoyed spending time with her family and reminiscing about the good old days. She “LOVED” to talk and always had so many great stories to share. Her favorite color was yellow and loved her dog tug. The family would especially like to thank the 3rd floor staff at Pioneer Manor for the care and compassion they’ve provided her. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services.

I had the pleasure to meet her and I could see she was a great person, so kind and sweet; spending time with her was a very special moment for me and will always keep in my heart!
For Rossanita, her Great grandma will be present always, now with the memories that I share with Rossanita, like when all the family sat at the balcony when we went to visit her, and one day I’m sure, Rossana will know more about her Great grandma Irene with all the memories she will hear from all of you!

Margaret – sorry to read about the loss of your mother. Serving your mother was always a pleasure. As you said she always had a story to share with us. You would come in with her at Christmas when she would deliver to each of us a lottery ticket at Christmas. Such a kind gesture.
