Couvrette, Joel “Buster”

In Loving Memory of Joseph Joel Leonard Couvrette, 77 years who passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 49 years to Sherry (nee Shabley).  Loving father of Donna Conrod (Steve) and Jody Couvrette. Proud Papa to his precious grandsons Jacob, Bradlee and Nicholas. Raised in Bisco, moving to Garson in 1966, and then retiring after 35 years of dedicated service from INCO in 2000. An avid Montreal Canadiens fan who enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family. Known as “Buster” by his friends, he will be truly missed by his extended family and lifelong friends. Special thanks to the staff in Palliative Care at H.S.N. for their care and compassion. In keeping with his request, cremation has already taken place. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 36 Henry Street, Garson on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
