Cousins, Debbie Rose (nee Reid) age 65

The family is extremely saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Debbie Cousins on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, surrounded by her family at Health Sciences North.

She leaves behind her husband and soul mate Mike Cousins and their 4 children from previous marriages – Jesse Killeen, Jennifer Martin (Adam), Darran Cousins (Genevieve) and Breanne McGuire (Ryan).

Dear sister of David Reid (Sandy predeceased), Doreen Armstrong (Ken predeceased), her brother-in-law Frank Stamplecoski (Violet predeceased) and unfortunately too many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews to mention in this notice.

She was born in Levack, ON in 1958 to James and Mary Reid (nee Jackson). As the youngest in a large family, she is predeceased by her parents and sisters Marjorie, Audrey, Sandra, June, Violet and many of her relatives that were near and dear to her.

In her earlier years she enjoyed bowling, euchre and socializing whenever she could. Unfortunately, a stroke 9 years ago affected her mobility, and she quickly took up inside activities on her tablet, but she never lost her spark for life and enjoyed having company and fraternizing. She particularly enjoyed spending time with any of our 15 grandchildren. Some of her grandchildren lived nearby and that provided her with the most happiness; Jayden and Brooklyn Garneau, Ava and Phoenix Martin, William, Madison, Logan and Lilah Killeen will miss grandma very much.

At Debbie’s request there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

She will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
