Corrigan, Brenda (nee Bray)

It’s with profound sadness and sorrow to announce the passing of Brenda Corrigan née Bray on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the age of 73 years. Daughter to Evelyn and Wilfred  Bray (both predeceased) , sister to Elaine (Gordon Ettinger), Neil (Lorraine) Bray, Sandra and (Darcy ) Paquette, Gary and (Edna ) Bray , Maureen and (Robert) Konopelky, Hubert and (Lynne) Bray.

Loving and devoted mother to Michael Corrigan (Jill) and Matthew Corrigan. Born in Copper Cliff , where she lived through out her life. She loved to spend time in her garden that was the heart of her home. Brenda worked as a Registered Nurse at Health Sciences North for 35 years when she retired in 2014. She had a passion for animals and frequently volunteered at PetSave with her love for Cats. She was the most selfless loving person with a heart of gold and a smile that would light up a room. She loved to spend time at the family camp on Lake Wanapitei, while enjoying every moment with her family, brothers, and sisters as well as many nieces and nephews .

Brenda lived a life full of love and passion for her family and hobbies, she leaves behind memories that are irreplaceable and will forever be ingrained in her family’s heart. She will be forever deeply missed.

A warm thanks to the triage nurses in emergency and all the friendly staff at the cancer centre, as well as all the staff on Four South at Health Sciences North who treated her with love and dignity

  4. My deepest sympathies for the loss of our dear Brenda.
Though we were apart for many years she always held a spot in my heart.
I think of Brenda every time I make pie dough. That sounds odd but many years ago, she taught me how to make the best dough using her Mother’s recipe!
    With love and sorrow
