Cook, Susan Doris (née Valliere)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Susan (Susie) Cook on Friday, April 8th, 2022 at home, in her sleep after complications with COPD.

Baker and cook extraordinaire, a woman with a contagious laugh, lover of anything East Coast including her lobster. Lover of crappy white wine and greenery.  Susie was a proud and loving Grammy, Mom, Fiancée, Sister, Aunt, cousin, and friend. A woman who lived on her terms, right up until the end.  This beautiful soul leaves behind her fiancé, Daniel Bertin who loved her beyond measure and like no other, daughter aka Yard Ape; Angelina Power (Rothery), her one and only grandson aka Manski, Brendan Moore, Brother Joe (Darlene) Valliere, Sister Pat (Greg) McLean, nieces Rhonda (Shawn) and Dawn Valliere (Brad), Crista Fletcher, her late nephew, Clayton Fletcher, as well as great nieces, and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents; Joyce Hill (Valliere/Cooley), Ed Valliere and her bonus Dad, Paul Hill. Many thanks to Mom’s PSW’s Mel and Tammy.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Brother Joe’s and Darlene’s on Saturday, July 23rd,2022 bring your own chair, drinks, memories, and laughs.
