Born in London, ON, he is survived by his beloved wife of over 61 years Donna Connor (nee Williams). Loving father of Greg (Tina) and Corrine (Ozzie). An avid sportsmen who not only enjoyed watching and participating in hockey, but took great pride in officiating hockey for over four decades. As someone who was community minded and always willing to give back, his involvement on the organizing committee of the Sudbury Silver Stick Hockey Tournament spanned over 5 decades, making many friends along the way. Art also loved coaching women’s ball and one of his many accomplishments was coaching Century Flowers to a number of league titles. As a Sales Rep., he began working with C.I.L. paints, then spent time at Maslack Supply, and finished his career with Good Year. A Celebration of Art’s Life will take place at a later date. 3. I’m so sorry to learn of Art’s death. I have many fond memories of working with him on committees, events and especially the hockey world. We always had fun poking fun at each other about anything and everything. It always ended up with a big laugh. Art was a classy guy. He is someone I will miss meeting up with and having some very interesting times together. I know you have many favourite Art moments and memories to help through this difficult time. I send my thoughts and prayers.
