Collin, Kimberley Marlene

(June 30, 1966 – July 12, 2023)

In loving memory of Kimberley Marlene Collin, 57 years who passed away peacefully at the Oak Lodge, Sudbury on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.  Born in Espanola, she was the daughter of Adelard and Gloria (née Kolibash) Collin. Dearly loved sister of Chris Whalen (husband Dennis) and Cory Filion (husband Mario). Cherished aunt to Elliot Moggy. Kimberley was a proud graduate from Cambrian College with a Diploma in Accounting, who dedicated more than 25 years of her life to her chosen field. A die-hard sports fan who not only collected sports cards, but could recite any given players’ name or even their stats. This legacy lives on today in her nephew Elliot, as he possesses the same self-interests. Her appreciation for the game was not only limited to collecting but lead her to participate in many sports such as baseball and hockey. A kind and generous person whose friends were a very important part of her life. She didn’t miss many opportunities to hang out with them or even lend a helping hand when the need presented itself. She will be truly missed and loved by all who knew her. In keeping with the family’s request there will be no visitation or services.

  1. My deepest sympathies go out to my Aunt Gloria and Uncle Adelard in Kim’s passing. Gone too soon, but she will never be forgotten. Her love of sports and her sense of humour were always welcoming. I remember, when were young, the many laughs we would share at family functions, and her distinctive smile and laugh.
    Rest in Peace, Kim.

    Love always,
    Jeff xoxo
