On Saturday, May 23, 2020, Gérald Laurent Chrétien passed away at the age of 75, at Maison McCulloch Hospice in Sudbury. Loving husband of Elva Chrétien (nee Richard). Loving father of Shawn (Katherine Amyotte) and Todd (Jessica Grillanda). Cherished grandfather to 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Dear son of Irene (St. Aubin) and Rhéal Chrétien both predeceased. Dear brother of Raymond (predeceased) (Anita predeceased), Roger (Thérese predeceased), Robert (predeceased) (Vivian), Jean (Georgette), Betty (Rod), and Anita (predeceased). Dear brother-in-law of Larry Richard (predeceased), Reg Richard (Lyla), Josette Jutras (Sylvain), Eroy Richard (Doloris) and Jean Hunter (Harry). He will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Gerald work at Palm Dairy until 1986 and was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #7368. He was always the first to offer a helping hand and did so with his infectious smile and big heart.
So sorry to hear of Gerry’s passing. I will miss his smiling face and brief pleasurable chats we had while going into church for Sunday/Saturday masses at St. Kevin’s.

The world will never be the same. Gerry was such an incredible man, husband and father. I am blessed to have had the chance to know and love him. I know in my heart I will see his kind eyes and infectious smile again, somewhere better. Sending love.
