It is with heavy hearts, the family announces the sudden passing of Jean Chipman, 79 years, at her home. Predeceased by her friend Carol Bradley. Daughter of the late Gladys (née Sanderson) and Charlie Black. Loving sister of Ted Chipman and sister-in-law of Suzanne Lloyd (Arthur). Dear aunt of Chris Chipman, Leslie Chipman, and great aunt of Lucas, Chris Jr., and Alyvia. Sadly missed by many great friends. Jean worked for 20 years at the Royal Bank, then went on to work at the Data Centre until she retired. As per Jean’s wishes, there will be no service or visitation. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
I worked many years with Jean at the Taxation Centre. Always a lot of fun to be with and she loved a good time. Seeing her picture, brought back lots of good memories. Rest in Peace my friend.

Jean was my babysitter when I was young. She loved to play the guitar, and we had many good times in her car. Later on in life we made arrangements each year to go to the Sportsman’s Lodge with the TD gang and have a great time skiing. I’m sad to hear that she has passed. She was a kind person and I respected her very much. Besides, she let me stay up late and fed me with all kinds of junk. I will always keep her in my heart.

Our sincere condolences…got to know Jean at Ratter lake and played several games of cards …we are lucky to have known her.
