In loving memory of Francine Florence Charette, 85 years, who passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017. À la douce mémoire de Francine Florence Charette, décédée le dimanche 23 juillet 2017. Francine was born on September 1, 1931 to the late Albert and Léonida Charette (née Vigneault). Dear sister of Constance Charette of Sudbury, Martial (Mike) Charette of Arizona and Normand Charette (predeceased). Loving aunt of Nicole Charette of Sudbury, André Charette of Kitchener, Louise Charette (predeceased) and Nina Charette-Meisel (Rob) of Arizona. Survived by great-nieces and nephews, Katherine and Alex of Kitchener and Allison and Tyler of Arizona. Francine retired in 1983 after 23 years of dedicated service to the Centre des jeunes/Sudbury Youth Centre. She was proud to be a life member of Le Carrefour francophone de Sudbury. C’est en juin 2000 que le Carrefour francophone décerne à Francine Charette un certificat de membre à vie pour son travail inlassable, son dévouement sans bornes et sa croyance ferme en la survie du Carrefour francophone. Throughout her life, Francine was nurtured by the arts, her family, friends and faith. The family thanks the staff of St. Joseph’s Villa and Health Sciences North for their care and compassion. Family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 9:45 am followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30 am at la Paroisse Ste-Anne des Pins (St. Anne’s Church), 14 Beech Street in Sudbury. Donations to St. Joseph’s Villa would be greatly appreciated.
