Charbonneau, Denis

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Denis Charbonneau, 68 years on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband of Nicole (Quenneville) Charbonneau. Loving father of Manon Charbonneau-Clement (Stephane), step-father of Serge Quenneville (Lynn) and Gilles Quenneville (Tanya). Cherished grandfather of Kendra, Patrick, Jessica, Chad (Crystal), Constance, Sean, Gabriel and great-grandfather of Jaylin, Jade and Hunter. Born in Sudbury, he was the son of the late Hormidas and Annette (Leveille) Charbonneau. Dear brother of Michel (predeceased), Leo (Nicole), Pauline Ens and Monique Brault. Special uncle too many nieces and nephews. Denis will be sadly missed by his dear friend Ashley Hull. A lifetime employee with I.N.C.O., Denis retired in 1999 as a Shaft Service Leader with 33 years’ service. An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping and especially fishing in the Estaire area. He was blessed with a natural gift of humor who could light up a room with laughter. Denis loved life and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Donations to the Health Sciences North Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.

  2. Uncle Denis,

We could always count on you for a good laugh and a strong opinion. I will forever second guess the amount of ketchup I put on my fries and gravy because you said “You can’t taste them like that!” I am still trying to figure that out.
Forever in our hearts. Love Jason
