Cecile Roussel (nee Pinard)

Surrounded by her loving family, Cecile Roussel at the age of 81 years, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2022. Beloved wife of Gerard Roussel. Loving mother of Lynn (Brad Dussiaume), Alain Roussel (Debbie Bouillon) and Robert Roussel (Deb Sabourin). Cherished memere of Lee-Ann, Melanie, Sean, Erica, Erik, Mason and Owen; great grandmother of Lauren, Madison, and Ryleigh. Dearly loved sister of Lillian Alain (predeceased), Roger Lavoie, Claire Lavoie (predeceased), and Paulette Dyke.  She will be sadly missed by her nieces Kim (predeceased), Lisa, Ginette, Chantal and nephew Philippe and her extended family members and friends.  Born in Sudbury on March 29, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Philippe Lavoie and Therese Dignard (nee Pinard).

Cecile was a generous and loving person. She loved receiving people, making sure not to leave anyone out, and to feed them to their max. She enjoyed being at camp with family, and to fish. She will be so missed!

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no service or visitation. Scattering of ashes will be held at a later date for family and friends. A private family mass will be held at St-Jean de Brebeuf on January 18, 2022 at 11am. Covid 19 protocols will be in place, masks and social distancing are mandatory.
