It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Louis Carrière on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Health Sciences North at the age of 81. Born in Timmins to the late Jean and Malvina (nee Gagné) Carrière. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (nee Gagnon) Carrière. Loving father of Lynn and Rachelle Carrière. Cherished grandfather of Josh, Kassadie, Justin (Pierrette) and Lisa. Dad loved to joke around and was the most patient man with a ferocious sweet tooth, he had a love for action and animated movies, enjoyed playing darts at the Club Amical in New Sudbury, playing pool, colouring and puzzles with his grandchildren. As per his wishes there was no visitation. A Celebration of his Life was held earlier at St Agnes Church in Azilda. The family would like to send a heart felt Thank You to the PSW’s at Perimed, the staff at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care and Health Sciences North for the care and compassion they have provided to Louis and his family and to those who have already made a donation. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated.
