Passed away suddenly at Health Sciences North on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the age of 82 years. Predeceased by her husband Gerry Carpentier. Loving mom of Mona (Ray) Lachance, Michelle (Dan) Roy and predeceased by two sons Guy Carpentier and Gilles Carpentier. Dear grandmother to Kevin Roy, Sylvain Roy, Megan Roy – predeceased, Steven Lapointe, Ryan Lapointe, Justin Carpentier, Tanya Saunders – predeceased, and adoring great grandmother to 12 great grandchildren. Maggie loved doing her crossword puzzles, playing cards (especially euchre and crib), but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and her cat Minou. In her younger days she enjoyed fishing and camping. If desired donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. A Celebration of Her Life will take place at St. Jean de Brebeuf Catholic Church (26 Kathleen St., Sudbury, ON.) at a later date.
