It is with great sadness, the family announces the peaceful passing of William Cameron, on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Health Sciences North at 70 years of age. Beloved husband of 45 yrs to Jean Cameron (nee Flannigan). William was born and bred in Glasgow, Scotland to William (predeceased) and Effie Cameron (nee Yule) where she still resides. Sadly, missed by his brother Gordon and his family from Scotland and his brother in law Drew and his family from Windsor, ON. Fondly remembered by his relatives and friends on both sides of the pond. William and Jean immigrated to Canada in 1987. Hoping he meets his buddies Islay and Hamish, waiting at the Rainbow Bridge with plenty of belly rubs. Many thanks to the staff at Health Sciences North in the ER, 8th Floor, 4th Floor, Cancer Centre, Lab staff for the care and compassion given to William and his wife Jean. Thank you to the many friends on their continued support over the last few years. A special thanks to Sue Tonelli – you are my rock!! At Williams request, no funeral will be held, and his ashes will be taken home to Scotland and scattered in a favorite fishing area, when travelling is permitted and safe.
