It is with great sorrow the family announces the passing of Peter (Perry) Byrnes, 61 years on Monday, May 29, 2023 at Health Sciences North. Beloved son of Michael (Mike) (predeceased) and Marilyn (née MacPherson) Byrnes. Loving brother of Karin Todd (Colin), Jo-Ann Byrnes, Greg Byrnes (Pauline), Victoria Byrnes, Jocelyn Byrnes, Mark Byrnes (Brenda), and Jane Neuts (Jason). Dear uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by aunts, uncles, many cousins, and friends. Peter was involved in the mining industry from a very young age and was proud to work alongside his father and brothers on various contracts across Canada. In recent years upon his retirement, he returned home to reside in Capreol. He had a great love of animals and was particularly fond of German Shepherds. Respecting his wishes, there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Peter's Life will take place at a later date. For those wishing to do so, donations in Peter’s memory can be made directly to the SPCA or a charity of your choice.
