It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden and tragic passing of David Allan Burgess on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 in Greater Sudbury at the age of 51 years. Cherished son of Brenda Burgess. Loving nephew of Michael (Bella), Richard (Jane), Ronnie (Grace), Margaret (Edward) and Charlie. He will be greatly missed by his Great aunt Elva (Ed) of Sault Ste Marie, Mary as well as many cousins, extended family members and friends. David enjoyed spending time at the campsite on Nepewassi Lake, his greatest hope was that he could build a place of his own one day. While at camp you could always find him out at the lake fishing. David had a great passion for his motorcycle, he enjoyed the feeling of freedom when he was riding. To friends and family he was known as “Dave”, although to his mother it will always be “David”. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no service or visitation, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
