In the company of family and friends Albert Burgess, 38 years, passed away after a courageous 17-year battle. Beloved son of Jane & Richard Burgess and Roger & Alice Duval. Dearly loved brother of Wendy, Sharon, Richard (Dee). Special uncle to Drake, Rose, Lorne, Londyn, Lennix, and Linkyn. He will be greatly missed by his little buddy Skyler and canine companions, Domino & Tiny. Albert enjoyed the outdoors, hanging with his friends and adored spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was a bad ass, who fought a solid fight against his illness for many years. The family would like to thank the nurses in the Dialysis Unit at Health Sciences North as well as the seventh-floor team for their outstanding care and compassion throughout Albert’s journey. Donations in Albert’s memory can be made directly to the Dialysis Unit of Health Sciences North. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of Albert’s Life will be held at Parthenon Restaurant, 3045 Hwy. 69 N., Val Caron, on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Relatives and friends are welcome to gather from 2:00p.m. – 5:00p.m.
