It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Raymonde Bujold at Pioneer Manor on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. Raymonde is predeceased by her parents Gabriel and Georgiana Leblanc, her husband René Bujold (1985) and her children Richard (Cindy) Bujold (2016), and Ginette Bujold (2019). Loving Mom of Nicole (Maurice) Lavoie, Pauline (Gaston) Michaud and Jacques (Julie) Bujold. Cherished Memere of Josée (Jason), Karine (Jason), Jolene (Derrick), Jessica (Stuart), Renée (Brent), Alain (Sophie), Janie (Pierre) and Joelle (Ryan). Beloved Great-Grand-Mother of 13. Sadly missed by her sister Mariette (D’Arcy) Laginski, her sister in law Lorraine (Eymard – predeceased) Bujold, her brother in law Guy (Raymonde) Bujold and many nieces and nephews. Mom had a voice of angels. From the age of 4, she sang with school choirs, church choirs, professional choirs and for hundreds of weddings and funerals all over the city. The choir of angels have gained an outstanding voice. The family would like to thank the staff at Pioneer Manor for taking such wonderful care of Mom. The family will receive relatives and friends at Église Notre Dame de la Merci, Coniston, on Saturday March 7, 2020 at 10 a.m. A mass will follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sudbury-Manitoulin North Bay Alzheimer’s Society or the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
