In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice is appreciated.

A special thank you to the excellent care by Bayshore and especially Jade, a kind and wonderful nurse. Ruth was Nanny to all and helped others through her career as a caring nurse.

  3. Ruth was one of the first nurses I had the pleasure of showing me the ropes as a student and supported me through the first half of my career in the nursing field. She was great friends with my late mother in law Leanne Redner whom always spoke highly of their friendships and adventures at York and after hours. Always a supportive hand on the floor and willing to go above and beyond for everyone. Debbie my warmest thoughts to you durning this difficult time I know how close you two were and always enjoyed the banter and love you guys shared on and off the floor. Rest Easy Ruth

  5. I worked 23 years at Extendicare with Ruth and Debbie. We were like furniture there. We’ve had some really great memories working together and after hours get togethers. Ruth was always willing to listen, she was a strong voice of reasoning and I appreciated her perspective. Debbie my deepest condolences you were so close as sister’s. I know there’s going to be a huge hole without her by your side. My thoughts and prayers goes out to all of you.
