In Loving Memory of Allan Briscoe who passed away suddenly on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of 47 years to Pauline (nee Guy) Briscoe. Loving and devoted father to Michael (Kim), Darryl (daughters Danica and Jessica) (Danielle) and Brian (wife Denise and children Lexi and Felix). Eldest son of the late Harold and Georgina (nee Yakaback) Briscoe. Dear brother of Tom (Donna), Debra Nault (Greg), Kevin (predeceased) and Bill (Cathy). Loving son in law of the late Leon and Laurette (nee Gauthier) Guy. Cherished brother in law of Madeleine Kramer (Frank), Gerard (Zoe) and Lise (late Denis). His life long best friend Rick will surely miss him. Allan was an outdoor enthusiast. He was inspired to home renovate and loved spending time at camp on Lake Nepewassi and in Felix. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer and enjoyed travelling with his wife. After retiring from Falconbridge with 30 years of service, he enjoyed wintering in Texas where he expanded his woodworking skills and developed a passion for oil painting. Allan was a fun-loving granpa and every Christmas, he would chart the height progress of all his grandkids. As a young father he devoted his time attending his 3 sons’ hockey games as well as coaching hockey. Allan loved sports and enjoyed watching the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays. He was a friend of Bill W. Allan’s warm and friendly demeaner, outgoing personality and regard for others will be cherished and greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 11am-3pm at the Knights of Columbus, 1241 Diane Street in the St-Dominique Parish Hall. A luncheon will be served at 1pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
